How to pay
- Wait for the approval e-mail. It states your membership number, the amount payable and the date by which to pay.
- Pay by bank transfer or deposit into the account above, using your membership number as the payment reference.
- E-mail the transfer confirmation or deposit slip to gs@mbakelaniya.lk, quoting your membership number.
- Your membership becomes active once the Treasurer has confirmed that the payment has been received.
You do not need to pay anything when you apply. Payment is requested only after your application has been approved.
Existing members: your fee details and membership number are in the e-mail sent to you and in the Member Portal. Pay into the account above using your membership number as the reference, then e-mail the transfer confirmation to gs@mbakelaniya.lk.
Stay safe from payment fraud
Our bank details will never be changed by e-mail, WhatsApp or telephone. If you receive a message asking you to pay into a different account, please do not pay. Contact the General Secretary at gs@mbakelaniya.lk first. The only place where our current bank details are published is this page and the approval e-mail sent to you after your application is approved.
